4. Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing The legal basis for processing personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the contract formed when a customer orders products and/or services from the online store.
The purpose of the register is to enable online trading via the Johku service, such as transmitting order, billing, and payment confirmation information between the company and the customer. Additionally, data is collected to enable customer service, maintain customer relationships, and for electronic marketing communication when the customer has granted consent.Saimaan Vuokravenho Oy does not store orders or information related to other merchants' products. Data is not used for automated decision-making. Data may be used for profiling.

Personal identity code (for private billing customers)
Source page of the order
For companies: Company name, Business ID (Y-tunnus), E-invoicing address, Operator code, Reference.
Additional information provided freely by the customer in the process.
Data Retention Period Data is stored as long as there is a valid contract and/or consent between the user and Saimaan Vuokravenho Oy. Data may be stored longer to fulfill legal obligations, such as accounting or consumer trade responsibilities.
6. Regular Sources of Information Information is collected via electronic forms in the Johku web service. Customers enter the information personally when ordering from the online store.
7. Disclosure and Transfer of Data Data is not disclosed to third parties and remains with the controller. Data may be technically processed outside the EU or the EEA.
8. Principles of Register Protection Care is taken in processing the register, and data processed via IT systems is appropriately protected. Physical and digital security of servers is ensured. Only employees whose job description requires it have access to the data.
Electronic Data: The register is located in the Johku service (Aptual Commerce Oy acting as the processor). Only the controller and technical maintenance personnel have access to the full data. More on Johku's privacy: johku.fi/en/privacy
Manual Material: We avoid printing manual documents. If printed, they are kept in a locked space with restricted access.
9. Right of Access and Rectification Every person has the right to check their stored data and correct any errors. This is automated via the My Johku service. A link to the service is provided in order confirmations. In the service, users can download their data in a structured format or terminate the agreement and delete their profile. After termination, requests for data management must be sent in writing to Saimaan Vuokravenho Oy.
10. Other Rights Related to Data Processing Users have the right to request the deletion of their data ("Right to be forgotten") or restrict processing. Note that accounting and tax laws may require the retention of certain transaction data. Requests must be sent in writing to the controller.
