Experience Savonlinna's largest island, Kaupinsaari, from a unique perspective! On this approximately 3.5-hour kayaking tour, you will first pass the lively market square and cruise ships, after which the current will guide you through the idyllic strait between Kaupinsaari and Uuraansaari to the open waters of Pihlajavesi's Kuussalmi and Simunan selkä.
You will get close to the islets and the impressive Käärmesaari (Snake Island). In Kaupinsaari, you can land to enjoy the sun on the rocks, savor picnic snacks, or take a refreshing dip in the water from a sandy beach or even a rock! Terns and gulls create a vibrant soundscape around you. On the southern side of the island, beautiful rocks await for a perfect snack break. We will paddle along the shores and make fascinating stopovers at small islets.
The tour includes basic paddling and safety instructions, small picnic snacks, a kayak or canoe, a paddle, a life vest, and a waterproof bag. Dress according to the weather – ask us for tips!
